9 members of a marriage party killed, 2 inured in mishap

Nine persons were killed and two others injured when a SUV carrying marriage party collided with a bus in Lalganj area here this morning.
The incident took place in the wee hours of the day when the marriage party was returning from Kanpur and their SUV was hit by a bus on Lalganj-Fatehpur highway near Janta Bazar, police said.
The deceased were identified as Anantu (70), Bhagauti Singh (60), Shivcharan Chaurasia and Srikrishna Shakya both (50); Krishna Bahadur Singh, Ram Vishal and Suresh Kumar all 40-years of age; Kripashankar (38) and Vikas Gupta (36).
The injured were rushed to a hospital, where condition of one was stated to be critical, police added.

All the victims were in the SUV.
