A police officer said two local youths were held in connection with the alleged rape and they were being interrogated.
The girl was allegedly raped yesterday at a deserted spot, the officer said.
Meanwhile, a local outfit the Lotha Lower Range Public Organization (LLRPO) has called for a 12-hour bandh tomorrow at Bhandari from 6 AM in protest against the alleged rape, the organisation's general secretary, R Kemerio Yanthan said in a press release here.
Yanthan said that on being alerted about the incident, the local youths first conducted search in the area where the incident took place and apprehended the two youths.
