90 cadets awarded degree at INA convocation

As many as 90 cadets of the 90th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) were awarded the B Tech degree at the convocation ceremony held today at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), at Ezhimala in Kannur district.
Chief Guest Prof Ashish Nanda, Director of Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, urged the graduates to be ever curious and inquisitive to learn new things, expand their intellectual horizons and strive to develop a never-say-die attitude to succeed in life.
Rear Admiral M D Suresh, Deputy Commandant attended the function.
The ceremony marked the culmination of the four-year training regimen, wherein the AICTE accredited B Tech degree is run simultaneously with a curriculum of Navy specific subjects and an intensive outdoor training curriculum, an INA release said.
Trophies were also awarded to meritorious cadets by the Chief Guest on the occasion.
