Organised by Indian Federation for Fashion Development (IFFD), the fashion gala showcased collections by 39 prominent as well as emerging designers.
The fashion week kicked off with the resort wear collection by eminent fashion designer James Ferreira, who opened with his "intoxication" print interspersed with cool cheese cotton white drapes in casuals, followed by an organic cotton range.
His cocktail wear collection featured short dresses in solid satin and georgette, printed and pleated fabric fashioned into asymmetric shapes.
Bangladeshi designer Bibi Russell's Rajasthan Khadi collection, which was a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, was a major attraction at this year's India Runway Week.

Russell, who was participating in IRW for the second time, presented designs made out of 100 per cent Khadi by skilled weavers of Bikaner.
"Our efforts are to strengthen India Runway Week as a platform every season. The 9th edition of Winter Festive brought the best of amazing designs to the runway.
'Apash' by Aparna and Shruti, Nakshatra collection by Vashu, 'Samhita Collection' by Rahul & Vidhu, and a travel themed collection titled 'Wanderlust' by Ashina Chharia stole the ramp on the second day.
Ukrainian model Alexandra Kutas, the first model with a disability, showcased designers Nikheil & Rivendra's collection.
Speaking about the growth of India Runway Week over the years, Kiran Kheva, fashion director, IFFD, said that the event reaffirms the platform's stature in terms of relevance and reach in the Indian fashion market.
"It shows the industry is strong and united and that's the sense we're getting this season, a renewed confidence from designers and the industry as a whole," she said.
The third and final day of the fashion week saw 'Her Majesty' by Nisha Singh, collection by Jyoti Munish, Saima Kashif, Getup by Shweta & Moumita among other designers.
Television actress Ridhi Dogra walked the ramp for Miku Kumar, model Lopamudra Raut walked for Gazal Mishra and actress Saiyami Kher sizzled the floor in Priyal Bhardwaj.
