Aadipooram festival concludes at Srivilliputhur Andal temple

The annual Thiru Aadipooram festival at the famous Sri Andal temple here concluded today with "Pushpa Yagna" (worship of the deity with flower).
Over one lakh devotees offered worship at the temple during the car festival held on July 30, "Sayana Thirukolam" and "Garuda seva", main events of the 12-day festival, temple officials said.
The festival is organised to celebrate the "birth star" of Goddess Andal.
