"The team of AAI, which had conducted feasibility survey of proposed land in Purandar tehsil, has given its approval and AAI has agreed that the land is suitable. Since the approval has come, we will now start the further process and we are happy that the local people too are positive about the airport," he said.
The government will now hold a meeting with Maharashtra Airport Development Authority, Fadnavis said.
