Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decision to withdraw Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes has been hailed as well as criticised by different sections.
Films like "Rock On 2", "Force 2" have been affected due to demonetisation.
"I hope it (demonetisation) doesn't affect our film. I think things are slowly getting back to normal. I think 'Rock On 2' got affected (due to demonetisation) because it had released right at that time," he said.
"But I believe 'Dear Zindagi' (starring Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt) is doing quite well. Hopefully I think it will not affect our film," Aamir told reporters here at the promotional event of "Dangal".

Notably, in the past several films were available online before its official release.
When asked about checking film piracy, Aamir said, "We try our best to curb it."
