Ahead of civic bypoll in the national capital, AAP today approached the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) and Delhi Lokayuta seeking a probe into charges of corruption against North Delhi mayor Ravinder Gupta.
AAP's Delhi unit convener Dilip Pandey and party's legal cell convener Rajendra Pal Gautam filed a compliant with the ACB and the Lokayukta.
The party referred to a letter written by Yogendra Chandolia, BJP's Leader of the House in North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) to party's state president Satish Upadhyay, accusing Gupta of "taking money" in the name of party fund and demanded a probe into it.
Besides, AAP also sought an investigation into charges of irregularities in giving tenders for garbage collection.
Another complaint the party filed relates to a building proposal, which was initially sanctioned but later rejected.
"So, the case is fishy. We have given a complaint to both the ACB and the Lokayukta. Now there will be a hearing in the Lokayukta case," Pandey said.

AAP sources said the case will also prove to be a "test" for ACB which the party accused of being controlled by BJP-led government at the Centre.
Reacting to the move, North Delhi mayor Gupta said "AAP is a party of scamsters. What will they complain against me? Ministers of the AAP government in Delhi are already under the scanner for a range of charges including corruption."
"They are charging me of corruption to gain political mileage ahead of municipal by-election... I have myself demanded a CBI inquiry into allegations against me and I do not fear investigation," Gupta said.
