AAP forms DAC to decide action against Binny

Aam Aadmi Party has set up a disciplinary action committee to decide as to what action could be taken against its MLA Vinod Kumar Binny on the basis of his response to a show cause notice served on him for attacking AAP leadership and the Delhi government.
"We have received his response and the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) has taken a serious note of this. We have formed a disciplinary action committee (DAC) under (AAP National Secretary) Pankaj Gupta, which will decide what action has to be taken against Binny," Sanjay Singh, a PAC member told reporters.
Apart from Gupta, the committee comprise of Gopal Rai, Ilias Azmi, Yogendra Yadav and Ashish Talwar.
AAP had on Friday had served a show cause notice to the Laxmi Nagar MLA after he attacked the party leadership and the Delhi government.
He was asked to submit his response by 5 PM on Saturday.
The notice said that the press conference held by Binny had tarnished the image of the party and violated the code of conduct under Section 6(1) (a) of the AAP constitution.
In his response, Binny had asked for a copy of the party's constitution and explain him the charges under which the notice was issued.
