Hitting back at Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi over his comments on Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal bringing in a change by merely making promises, the AAP today said had he kept the promises made by his party, he would not have faced the drubbing in the Lok Sabha polls.

"Had Rahul Gandhi and his party kept the promises they made, he would not have seen the days he is witnessing now," senior AAP leader Sanjay Singh said, refering to the electoral set back received by then party in Lok Sabha polls.

"Modiji and Kejriwal think that after merely making promises they can bring about a change. No change can be brought by making promises. A change can be brought only after standing here and exerting pressure," Gandhi had said in his speech while addressing safai karmachari workers at Jantar Mantar here.

Singh claimed the AAP government in the country was perhaps the only party in the country, which has fulfilled many of its promises in its first 100 days.
