AAP volunteers led by Vipan Nischal, party's regional president for Jammu held demonstration against the PDP-BJP government for "taking away AIIMS project from Jammu and awarding it to Kashmir region".
"The diversion of AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical sciences) from Jammu to Kashmir was a grave injustice to the people of Jammu province", Nischal told reporters here.
Raising anti-government slogans, the protesters demanded grant of another AIIMS project to Jammu region.
The AAP leader stated that the people of Jammu province since the independence of the country, has been meted out with step motherly treatment by consecutive governments at the Centre and the state.
The issues related to Jammu province like permanent settlement of West Pakistani refugees, employment recruitment policy of state, Jammu Tawi Lake project, Gandola project and international airport at Jammu should be given thrust by the Mufti government, he added.
