Opposition Leader in Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta today claimed that the Aam Aadmi Party and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal would not be able to win elections in Delhi again as they "misguided" the people by making "false" promises at the time of the polls.
Gupta's attack on AAP and Kejriwal came a day after the Delhi Chief Minister leveled a string of fresh allegations against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung on issues ranging from power subsidy to minimum wages of workers.
Kejriwal had alleged that Jung sought the file related to power subsidy on the instructions of the Prime Minister and cautioned against a hike in power tariff in the city.
He had also expressed apprehension that his government's proposal to increase minimum wages by up to 50 per cent could be shot down by Jung and Modi.
Gupta alleged that "to cover up for his inefficiencies, nepotism and corrupt laden tenure", Kejriwal was "consistently railing" about how everyone, especially the Prime Minister, was out to get him and his government.
The BJP leader alleged that under the AAP government's rule of over a year, the national capital has "fallen back" 10 years in terms of development and "blamed" it on their "conservative and parochial mindset".

He alleged that "Kejriwal has a pessimistic attitude and perspective. It is surprising to know how everytime he puts baseless allegations on others and denies his personal responsibility and accountability towards and for the people of Delhi".
"The future of the people of Delhi is not secured under the governance of AAP which has anarchic mindset and this party will not win elections in Delhi again," he said in a statement.
Gupta also alleged that AAP "turned a blind eye towards welfare and development of Delhi after winning a majority in the Delhi Assembly elections".
He claimed that recent opinion polls "clearly revealed" that negative sentiments for AAP have increased and the popularity of Kejriwal has reduced by 35 per cent, whereas, "acceptance and popularity of Modi has increased by 85-90 per cent".
He contended that the AAP government "failed" to deliver on its poll promise of building 20 colleges in the national capital and that it has also "failed to maintain minimum wage rate for 60 lakh workers" in the city.
