Lending a dramatic touch to the Assembly proceedings here, Delhi minister Kapil Mishra read out excerpts from an affidavit filed by IAS officer Pradip Sharma in the Supreme Court and also played out an audio clip related to the case.
He was participating in a discussion on the controversy relating to the sleaze CD involving Kumar, raised by Leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta.
Taking advantage of the absence of the two BJP MLAs, who had earlier walked out, Mishra took the names of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and then then Gujarat home minister, and now BJP chief, Amit Shah in this regard.
Earlier, Gupta hit out at AAP spokesperson Ashutosh over his blogpost in which he sought to defended Kumar's act saying it was consensual. He had said the sacking was aimed at "perception management".
Ashutosh had also referred to the private lives of Jawaharlal Nehru, Mahatma Gandhi and Atal Bihari Vajpayee stating they had "lived with their desires beyond social boundaries"
"He has compared Gandhi and Sandeep to an extent where it has become impossible to differentiate between the two. What message has he sent out to the society?" Gupta asked, before staging a walkout.
