According to AYW, a "safai abhiyaan " was carried out across Delhi during which volunteers were engaged in fruitful conversations on cleanliness and maintaining social hygiene with local residents.
In a statement, it said that the Safai abhiyaan was followed by fumigation drives, as AYW volunteers have pledged to support the municipal system and work for prevention of mosquito breeding, the root cause behind spread of Dengue.
It also stated that for almost fours hours the fumigation machines which were bought by the AAP were used in those areas which have seen higher cases of Dengue fever.
Later in day, tree plantation drive was also carried out in many areas of the national capital.
