The 34-year-old star played manufacturer Jesse Pinkman in 'Breaking Bad' for five years, before the show ended its run in 2013, reported Contactmusic.
"It's nice to do something on the lighter side now, after some of the other stuff I've done," he said, adding that though the new show has its serious moments, it is a good break from heavy drama 'Breaking Bad'.
"But then there are really heavy moments too. There are a couple of episodes later in the series where you're barely laughing. I mean, it's not trying to be funny - they're really serious. I don't think we've seen that done before in mainstream animation on TV," Paul said.
