Sorkins, 53, is in negotiations with Sony, who has acquired the movie rights of Lewis' 'Flash Boys: A Wall Street Revolt', reported Ace Showbiz.
Scott Rudin and Eli Bush reportedly serve as producers for the feature film. If the deal works out, it will be the second Lewis book that Sorkin will tackle for Sony.
He previously wrote screenplay for movie translation of Lewis' 'Moneyball'.
'Flash Boys...' will deal with 'the practice of high-frequency trading on Wall Street and how it became a way to rig the system'.
