ABB India Q4 net up at Rs 84 cr

ABB India today reported 43.6 per cent rise in standalone net profit at Rs 84.16 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2014.
Its net profit in the October-December quarter of 2013 was Rs 58.59 crore, the company said in a BSE filing.
The company's total income from operations during the quarter was Rs 2,238.41 crore, as against Rs 2,203.87 crore in the same quarter of 2013.
"We will continue to push our profitable growth initiatives, introduce new products to market and offer state of the art technology solutions catering to the evolving customer needs," ABB India Managing Director Bazmi Husain said.
"Our continued investment in optimisation initiatives, facility expansion and technology leadership, positions us well for a market revival," Husain said.
It said with orders worth Rs 2,487 crore received during the quarter, the company posted a growth of nearly 50 per cent year-on-year.
