Pop group ABBA is considering a reunion in honor of the 40th anniversary of the Swedish pop quartet's victory in the Eurovision Song Contest, according to member Agnetha Faltskog.
Falskog, 63, who refused to divulge details about the much-anticipated reunion, said there are plans to do something to mark this anniversary in some way, reported the Huffinton Post.
Formed in 1972, it was ABBA's performance of the group's first number one single hit, 'Waterloo', on Eurovision that shot them to fame.
The glam-clad ensemble continued to top charts worldwide for the next decade with singles like 'Mamma Mia', 'Dancing Queen' and 'Take a Chance On Me'.
The band comprised of Faltskog, Bjorn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. ABBA is an acronym of the first letters of the band members' first names.
