The company had posted a net profit of Rs 63.74 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, the drug firm said in a filing to BSE.
However, total standalone income from operations rose to Rs 645.06 crore for the quarter under review as against Rs 588.71 crore for the same period a year ago.
Abbott India shares closed 2.07 per cent down at Rs 5,350.40 apiece on BSE.
