Abhay, who plays the role of a Tamilian IAS officer in the multi-starrer, travelled to the hill station with Dibakar to showcase the film.
"The screening has just happened and we are all very excited about it. When we were making the film we had thought of showing it to IAS officers because Abhay's character is from their world. Dibakar referred his IAS friends for Abhay's role. We thought it would be great to show it to the officers as a token of gratitude," producer Priya Shreedharan told PTI.
The movie also stars Kalki Koechlin, Emraan Hashmi and Prosenjit in key roles. It will hit the theaters next Friday.
Priya wants the officers to enjoy the film and hopes that there are not many mistakes in portraying an IAS officer.
"We are hoping that we haven't made any glaring mistakes which will upset the officers. We hope that they like and enjoy the film. Abhay has done a fabulous job and full justice to the character. We just want to entertain them from the film," she added.
After the movie is screened Abhay and Dibakar will also have an interactive session with the officers.
