"We are currently working on our first Yas Island digital store for India, a similar concept to what we have on Expedia," Karim El Guanaini, Vice President of Yas Island Destination Management, said.
Speaking on the sidelines of SATTE (South Asian Travel and Tourism Exhibition), he said, "This initiative is a reflection of our dedication to the Indian and South Asian markets. We value the existing and potential business from these markets and will continue to enhance the overall experience for both business and leisure travellers," he was quoted as saying in the local media.
"Yas Island has definitely become an attractive destination for the Indian market due to its proximity, ease of access from both airports in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, wide range of flexible services and exciting attractions," Guanaini said.
"This has aided South Asia to become one of our top five producers to Yas Island in both leisure and business volume," Guanaini said.
