ACB nabs town planning officer of Rajampeta municipality

Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials caught a town planning officer of Rajampeta municipality for allegedly demanding a bribe from a house owner for clearing a house plan.
A case was registered and the officer was arrested TPO on Monday ACB DSP Siva Sankar Reddy said.
One Sirajuddin had approached town planning officer Bharathi for an approval of his house plan recently.
Allegedly, she demanded Rs 15,000 for approving the plan and forced Sirajuddin to wander around the office for a long time.
Finally, the deal was settled for Rs 4000 and the aggrieved house owner approached ACB officials, the DSP said.
