"This morning at about 8 am three workers, aged 20, 32 and 34 were injured in the accident at Palai police area in Muhamalai in Jaffna", police spokesman and Superintendent Ajith Rohana said.
Authorities say the demining has neared completion since the war ended in May 2009.
