Accounts officer caught for accepting bribe

An Accounts Officer, attached to Machilipatnam Municipal Office in Krishna district, was caught by ACB today while allegedly accepting brine of Rs 5000 for returning an official favour.
The officer T. Yarraiah was trapped while he was accepting the amount in the office, said DSP (ACB) V.Gopalakrishna.
According to the officer, Yarraiah had allegedly sought the illegal gratification for reducing amount on electricity bill of complainant.
