Achiever Squadron lifts Int Sqd Aquatics championship

Achiever Squadron today lifted the prestigious Inter Squadron Aquatics Championship for Autumn Term 2017, held at Indian Naval Academyat Ezhimala in Kannur.
During the finals today, Achiever Squadron emerged victorious with 141 points. Cheetah Squadron finished runners up in a keenly fought championship eventwhich saw players from six squadrons wrestling vigorously for an advantage over their opponents in the water.
A total of 14 aquatic events, including 1500 meter free style, 4x50 meter medley relay, 200 meter individual medley, 100 meter backstroke, 100 meter breaststroke, were conducted in the ten day event being conducted from July 8, an INA press release said today.

Vice Admiral S V Bhokare, Commandant, INA presented the Inter Squadron Aquatic Championship Trophyto the winners, it said.
