ACS urges Centre to resolve China visa issue

Arunachal Civil Society (ACS) has pleaded Centre to evolve a mechanism to resolve the contentious stapled visa issue with China.
In a memorandum addressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj yesterday, ACS demanded immediate initiatives for regular visa especially to the sports personalities from Arunachal Pradesh to participate in international event, a press release said here today.
ACS also demanded the Centre to come clear on the present status of the stapled visa issue.
The memorandum, a copy of which was made available to the Press further said that the sports department must give priority in sending the sports personalities from Arunachal Pradesh to any international sports event, especially in China.
