craftsman, playwright-director Mahesh Dattani says acting is also a team work.
The English theatre craftsman-playwright feels, every performing artiste's role should be to make the most possible use of the medium
Dattani, who penned 'On A Muggy Night in Mumbai', conducted a workshop on a sultry noon here comprising professionals - people from divergent backgrounds as diverse as film production team members, to journo-critics, students and executives all sharing the same passion for theatre.
"I see myself as a craftsman and not as a writer. To me, being a playwright is all about seeing myself as a part of the process of a production. I write plays for the sheer pleasure of communicating through this dynamic medium," Dattani said.
