Devgn, 44, will be playing the titular role of Jackson in the Prabhudheva directed film.
While this movie will be the Devgn's first venture with Prabhudheva, Sonkashi has already worked with the director in 'Rowdy Rathore' and 'R... Rajkumar'.
'Action Jackson' also stars Yami Gautam and Kunaal Roy Kapoor in prominent roles. It is slated to release on June 6 this year clashing with the Akshay Kumar-starrer 'Holiday'.
