Goa minister Vijai Sardesai today said the activists who have made allegations against him in the alleged land conversion scam are aping Arvind Kejriwal.
Like the Delhi chief minister, they are making allegations without giving evidence, and will apologise later, he said.
Hundreds of people held a protest rally here last month demanding scrapping of the Regional Plan 2021 of Goa.
The protesters alleged that several politicians including Sardesai, who is the minister for town planning, benefited from the plan, and illegally converted their 'orchard lands' into 'settlement zones' (where construction is allowed).
"We asked them to come up with the proof of such conversion, but they didn't," Sardesai told reporters after chairing a meeting of the Town and Country Planning Board.
"This is typical Kejriwal style...and then you will give apology. Somebody starts filing defamation cases, then the apology is also automatic," he said, referring to an apology tendered by the Delhi chief minister in a defamation case.

A five-member experts' committee set up to investigate the allegations did not get any evidence from the activists, Sardesai said.
One of the plots of land, which is in his wife's name, was never converted from an orchard to a settlement as alleged, he said.
"I applied for a fresh zoning certificate from the town planning department. It still shows as an orchard (in the certificate)," he said.
