Rohit Shah, Trupti Shah and others have sent a letter to the Election Commission in this regard. They have also sought implementation of section 41(2) and 49 of the Conduct of Election Rules, 1961, until the 'Vote Against All...' facility is provided.'
Section 41(2) and 49 give a limited 'right not to vote the listed candidates', a statement issued by the activists said.
Local election officers should be trained as to how to allow such voting, they said.
