Talking to the reporters, Kumar said that PBL has provided all the shuttlers in the world a big platform, which would provide young badminton players, who have not played at international level, a golden chance to earn money and fame.
He said that the young players would get a chance to play with experienced players, which would help them in their future career.
Appreciating President of Badminton Association of India Akhilesh Das Gupta, Akshay said that PBL was a good step and he had discussed with him to make a movie on the game.
Welcoming the actor, BAI president Das Gupta said that Akshay was brand ambassador of the PBL and it was a welcome move.
