Actor Bhalchandra Kulkarni to get 'Janakavi P Savlaram' award

Well-known theatre and film actor Bhalchandra Kulkarni will be honoured with the 'Janakavi P Savlaram' award on December 25 here.
The award is given jointly by Thane Municipal Corporation and Savlaram Kala Samiti in memory of renowned lyricist P Savlaram.
Thane mayor Sanjay More made this announcement today.
Senior cine artist Maya Jadhav will be awarded the 'Ganga Jamuna award' at the event, said More.
The award, carrying a citation and Rs 25,000 in cash, will be given to Kulkarni, the mayor added.
