Lakshya DMK chief and Tamil film actor-director T Rajendar today opposed AIADMK General Secretary V K Sasikala becoming Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, saying the people's mandate was given to late Jayalalithaa.
Sasikala taking over as the head of the AIADMK was an internal matter of the party, but she should not become the Chief Minister, he told reporters here.
The people of the state had given the mandate to late Jayalalithaa and the MLAs should take note of this and act judiciously, he said.
Moreover, the people were "praying" against Sasikala becoming the Chief Minister, he claimed.
