Sachin got his money back last week after the FIR lodged by him against the car dealer was quashed recently, his lawyer Swapna Kode said today.
Sachin and the car dealer mutually agreed to quash the case and the latter had deposited Rs 34 lakh in the court. This money was returned to the actor few days ago, Kode said.
The actor had registered the FIR in November 2015 against Anagha Borikar who had offered to sell him the BMV car at a discounted rate of Rs 34 lakh as against the original price of the car i.E Rs 54 lakh.
Sachin paid the amount to the woman and she sent him the BMV car as promised earlier. However, the showroom from where the car had been sent took back the car saying that it was sent to Borikar for a test drive and that they were yet to receive the full price of the car from her.

Sachin then tried calling Borikar to know what had happened to the car but she did not respond to his calls.
Fearing arrest, Borikar had urged for pre-arrest bail in sessions court which rejected her plea. She then moved the high court and declared that she wanted to settle the matter with the actor.
The high court asked her to deposit the money received from the actor with the registrar of the court. Accordingly, she deposited Rs 34 lakh.
As the parties decided to mutually settle the dispute, the money was refunded to the actor after the high court quashed the case, advocate Kode said.
