The track has taken the top spot on the iTunes charts in Britain, Ireland, Greece, the Netherlands and Finland following its premiere on Adele's website, reported Daily Mail online.
"Skyfall" also cracked the top five in the US and Canada as fans rushed to download the song through the online music retailer.
Daniel Craig will make his third outing as the superspy in the 23rd Bond movie, which hits cinemas later this month.
