During her acceptance speech at the Brit Awards 2016, the "Hello" singer declared that she supported the "Tik Tok" singer, who is in the midst of a legal battle against Sony and music producer Dr Luke, the man she accused of rapping her, reported Ace Showbiz.
Adele, who accepted her trophy for Best British Female Solo, said, "I'd like to take this moment to publicly support Kesha. Thank you very much."
The 27-year-old singer's show of support came after she thanked her "management and my record label for embracing the fact that I'm a woman and being encouraged by it."
Anne Hathaway and Reese Witherspoon took to Instagram to tell fans that they're on Kesha's side. Both stars also thanked Lena Dunham, who recently penned an essay about the "Crazy Kids" singer's legal battle.

Hathaway uploaded an artwork of Kesha along with a lengthy message that encouraged everyone to support Kesha. "I stand with @iiswhoiis. If you are unfamiliar with the case, @LenaDunham does a brilliant job in this week's @LennyLetter explaining the nightmare in which Kesha finds herself," the 33-year-old actress wrote.
Witherspoon said, "Thank you @lenadunham for helping me understand the #Kesha case and for standing up for all survivors of abuse #FreedomForKesha #regram @lennyletter.
