ADG reviews preparations for Modi's Varanasi visit

The Additional Director General of Police (law & order) of Uttar Pradesh today reviewed security arrangements for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to his Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi, a police spokesman said here.
ADG (law and order) Mukul Goel reviewed preparations for Modi's two-day visit to Varanasi starting tomorrow.
The spokesman said the ADG held a review meeting with police and administration officers of Varanasi zone.
Modi will arrive in Varanasi tomorrow morning and during his little over 24-hour stay in the temple town he is likely to launch a host of schemes.
This will be Modi's first visit to his Lok Sabha constituency since assuming the top post.
Earlier, the Prime Minister was expected to visit Varanasi on October 14 and 15 but it was postponed due to Cyclone Hudhud.
