Aditi Ashok closed the week in Kuala Lumpur with a steady two-under 69 that gave her a creditable tied 28th finish at the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia.
Aditi's rounds for the week were 70-73-69-69 and was 3- under 281 for the week. The finish fetched her a handy USD 14,342.
American Cristie Kerr holed a 36-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole to close out a thrilling final round and win the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia by one shot.
A dropped shot by Kerr on the 17th, it looked as though the tournament was heading for a four-way play-off together with Danielle Kang (66), Jacqui Concolino (67) and Shanshan Feng (71).
However, the seasoned Kerr showed her class to make the putt and claim the winner's cheque of USD 270,000.
Kerr carded an even-par 71 for the round which included four birdies, two bogeys and a double-bogey on the par-3 seventh.
Feng was also unable to break par on a course that she has so dominated over the years. Lydia Ko (67) was T-11 at 11 -under 273.
