Aditi improves to Tied 27th at LPGA Qualifying School in US

Aditi Ashok put herself in a good position to make the card for the 2017 LPGA season by carding two-under 70 to go with her modest first round of one-over 73.
After 36 holes Aditi is now one-under for the tournament and she moved from her first round position of Tied-52nd to Tied-27th.
The 18-year-old Indian, who has won twice in her last two starts on the Ladies European Tour, is seeking to get to the LPGA within a year of turning pro and as of now she has the results to back her.
In the second round of the five-round 90-hole Final Stage of the Qualifying Tournament, Aditi playing at Hills Course had four birdies including one on the closing 18th hole to finish at 70. She birdied the third, 11th, 12th and 18th and dropped shots on seventh and 17th.
In the first round she had six birdies against five bogeys for the 73.
This week, Aditi Ashok has also got Terry McNamara on her bag as caddie. McNamara was the long-time caddie to Annika Sorenstam and now caddies for Spain's Carlota Ciganda.
Two-time Solheim Cup member Mel Reid (64) and 17-year-old rising star from Japan Nasa Hataoka (65) share the 36-hole lead at 11-under, 133.
