Right from the beginning of the weekend, the duo found it hard to match the kind of speed they showed at Jerez.
Campanico, who took the start of race one, found himself swallowed by a bunch of cars at the start yesterday. However, he managed to recover a few places before handing it over to Patel who exited the pit lane in front of ADAC GT Masters Champion, Daniel Keilwitz in third place.
Keilwitz got the better of Patel on turn two, a move which forced the Indian wide, thereby letting Thomas Jager through as well and hence finished fifth.
