Adv C R Raja conferred with life time achievement award

A city-based senior female advocate C R Raja was today conferred with the life time achievement award during the late Prabhkar Hegde memorial lecture series here.
The award comprising a citation was presented by Bombay High court Judge Justice R D Dhanuka in the presence of Thane District and Sessions Judge Ms U M Nandeshwar, Additional Solicitor General of India, Anil Singh, former Chairman of the Maharashtra and Goa Bar council Pramod Patil, and Principal of Thane Law College Srividya Jaykumar.
The award has been instituted by Vidhi Foundation and the function was jointly organised by the foundation and Thane Law College.

Also felicitated were two advocates from Thane District Courts Bar Association who have been selected for the post of Assistant district and Sessions Judge - namely Vardan Desai and Surekha Patil.
The lecture was delivered by Justice Dhanuka on the topic 'arbitration'.
