"Germany will lift the World Cup, if they get past France in the quarterfinals and Brazil in the semifinals," he told PTI here after he was felicitated for becoming the first player to win world titles in the long and shorter formats of both billiards and snooker.
"I expect Germany and Netherlands to meet in the finals," Pankaj said.
Pankaj, who created history by becoming the only player to win the shorter and the longer formats world of billiards and snooker, said he wants German striker Miroslav Klose to score record number of goals.
Later speaking to reporters, Pankaj said winning the IBSF World 6-Red Snooker Championship added one more feather in the host of cups which he had gathered in his cabinet.

"I am extremely happy that I have earned laurels in all format of the game. It shows that it requires patience and adaptability. Whenever there is a shorter format I accept the challenge and for longer format I change my approach accordingly," he said.
Asked which title he cherished the most, Pankaj said, "IBSF World 6-Red Snooker Championship is a very special because it had 170 players in it."
"Obviously winning the world title number nine makes me feel I am on cloud nine, and being the highest number of title holder just makes me feel absolutely great," he added.
On his next title event, Pankaj said he is playing world billiards championship in October but has not set eyes on participating in many events before that.
