Veteran BJP leader L K Advani will not be celebrating Holi at his residence this year as he will be in Mumbai to visit his younger sister who sustained injuries after a fall.
Sources close to Advani said the BJP patriarch's younger sister Sheila (80) suffered a fracture on her femur bone after a fall today and would be operated upon tomorrow.
"Advani would not be in Delhi tomorrow to celebrate Holi at his Prithviraj Road residence, where he celebrates the day every year with his well-wishers and party leaders," the sources said.
Every year in the past, Advani's residence witnessed a riot of colour with party leaders and well wishers coming to greet and play Holi with him.
