Advani went to Kokilaben hospital in suburban Andheri straight from the airport last night and spent over an hour with the actor-turned BJP leader.
"He enquired from the doctors about me and like a family elder told me to strictly follow the medical suggestions prescribed," Sinha told PTI from his hospital room.
Sinha, 66, a BJP Lok Sabha member from Patna Saheb in Bihar, said, "For me Advani ji is a father-figure and his visit has given me a lot of comfort."
The actor-politician, who is in the hospital since July 2, has been visited by a number of Bollywood colleagues including Amitabh Bachchan, his actress wife Jaya and son Abhishek and actor Salman Khan, said filmmaker Pahlaj Nihlani, who is related to Sinha.
