Adventure film fest vies with you tube craze

Proving adventure films can be serious contender to the fetish for you tube and torrent even in this age, a four-day adventure film fest, bringing the Amazon locales alive in the plex, drew hordes of children in the city.
The WaitForIt film festival, screening films shot in the most breathtaking locales had a package of four films - Roraima, Where the Trail ends, Congo - the great inga project and Bouncing cats.
"Our brief was to introduce the present day generation to the big screen era of documentary films at USIS and British Council during our times, when there was zero viewing alternative. When there was no social media and no downloading," a spokesnman said.

The eastern regional film festival, was part of the nationide screening earlier this month.
