Advocate's killing: CM enhances ex gratia amount to family

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today enhanced the ex gratia amount announced for the family of the lawyer killed in a clash with policemen in Allahabad last week.
The Chief Minister has enhanced the ex gratia amount from Rs 10 lakhs to Rs 20 lakhs for the family of lawyer Nabi Ahmed who was killed in Allahabad recently, an official statement issued here said.
On March 11, 30-year-old Ahmed was shot dead allegedly by sub-inspector Shailendra Singh inside the district court premises in Allahabad.
