Announcing this, the organisers said that over 100 companies are expected to participate in the mega event, which is taking place in the national capital for the first time.
Besides showcasing the entire spectrum of general aviation, ranging from Gyroplane, and small aircraft to multi-engine business jets, helicopters, among others, AERO EXPO INDIA 2016 would also witness global think tanks of civil aviation sector coming together on one platform to suggest measures and way outs to transform it to the scale of economies, a release said.
"We want to showcase India's industry development and promote the capabilities of the country's aerospace supply chain," Mahesh Gupta, President, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry said adding that as many as 4-5 large scale agreements and memoranda of understandings with foreign counterparts are expected to be firmed up during the two-day show.
He said Aero Expo 2016 would also use the platform to promote India as the preferred aerospace hub for Asia-Pacific, as well as, showcase India's aerospace eco-system.
