In his inaugural address, Das said: "I sincerely hope that this seminar goes a long way in addressing how we can link football and nutrition to serve our country."
"I just met the newly appointed Sports Minister yesterday (May 27) and he is very keen on extending support towards the development of the game on all fronts including nutrition," Das added.
"It is really heartening to see experts from different fields converging here in Football House for a noble cause. I hope fruitful results are rendered from the two-day meet and we can all take the country and the game forward."
"To beat the best you need to eat the best," Robin who recently won the Airtel I-League with Bengaluru FC, said in his opening address.

"There is a strong need to educate the Coaches as well as the Parents to impart the message of proper nutrition from a very early age," Aditi quipped.
Besides AIFF, other organisations which took part included the likes of Ashoka Group, Asian Football Development Project, Back 2 Fitness, British Council, DSM, FICCI, Football Link, GAIN, GH Advocates, Magic Bus, and World Vision India.
