Talking to reporters here during Africa Day celebrations in the city, where ambassadors from around eleven African countries participated, she said, "They (African countries) want India to give them technology in terms of joint ventures where Indian companies can administer and provide services as well as train their local people for the sustainable growth".
"Sectors like infrastructure, construction, agriculture, health, information technology and telecom, energy and power and skill development under vocational training have been identified," she said.
There are 126 power projects pending in Africa that has not been awarded so far, she said.
"There are also some projects where China is leading. India's contribution is very less. We (IACCI) are here to promote and increase India's contribution to the power sector," she said.
She said that current bilateral trade between India and Africa stands at USD 135 billion and the aim is to take it to USD 160 billion.
"Government of India has given a target to take bilateral trade to USD 160 billion dollars by 2025, but we will be able to achieve it in three years," she said.
