The court issued the order in this regard on Thursday, advocate Dalbir Singh Pheruman, who fought the case on behalf of the shopkeepers, told reporters here.
During the Army Operation in June 1984, shops around the Golden Temple were demolished, said Gurdip Singh, president of the Blue Star Merchants Sufferers Association.
Most of the shopkeepers who were uprooted were given shops at desirable locations, he said displaying the court order.
But 147 shopowners were not rehabilitated due to some technical reasons, and they had now got relief after 27 years thanks to the Punjab and Haryana High Court, said Gurdip.
Exhibiting the High Court order, Pheruman said it had ordered the Punjab government to sanction commercial sites to all 147 petitioners within six weeks.
The court had also directed the government to sanction 27 square yard area at the rate of Rs 1000 per square yard to each petitioner.
Besides, 50 per cent construction cost would be borne by the state government, Pheruman said.
